Neighbourhoods
Estrela, and everything around it
Seven neighbourhoods I know street by street. My focus is the Estrela parish, and I live in Lapa.
See the Estrela market report →Estrela
Green, calm and classic. Life here turns around the Jardim da Estrela and the white dome of the basilica, with tram 28 rattling past. Buyers come for the elegant early-20th-century buildings, high ceilings and wooden floors, and for a real neighbourhood feel close to the centre.

Walk the side streets around the garden. Some of the most beautiful buildings are just one block away from the main roads.
Lapa
Lisbon's embassy quarter and one of its most prestigious addresses. Quiet, sloping streets with palacetes, gardens behind high walls and, from the upper floors, wide views over the Tagus. Homes here are rare on the market and buyers are often ready to wait for the right one.

Look at the upper floors. That is where Lapa's famous river views are.
Santos
Between Lapa and the river, Santos mixes design shops and studios with quiet residential streets. Away from the busiest tourist areas, but close to the water, the train to Cascais and the bridge to the south bank.

Some streets are lively at night, others completely calm. I'll show you which are which.
Campo de Ourique
A village inside the city. Straight, flat streets, local shops, cafés and one of Lisbon's favourite markets. Families love it for its everyday convenience and its strong community feel.

Flat streets and everything within walking distance. Perfect if you don't want to depend on a car.
Alcântara
Close to the river and in full change. Former industrial spaces have become LX Factory and new residential projects are going up. Good value for buyers who look ahead.

New projects are changing the area. Ask me which ones are coming before they are online.
Ajuda
On the hill above Belém, Ajuda is quiet and residential, with the Palácio da Ajuda and one of Lisbon's oldest botanical gardens. A real local feel, close to the river and to Monsanto park.

Prices are lower than in Belém or Estrela, so your budget goes further. Ask me which streets have the river views.
Belém
Space, light and the riverfront, with quieter residential streets just behind the monuments. Close to Restelo's villas and good schools, with easy access to the coast.

Space, light and the river, and only a short ride along the water to the centre.
